damn cuts

Just heard that the Parade of Lost Souls is not going to be running this year! So sad! Last year was just fantastic with the fire twirlers and amazing costumes. There was a couple with a child and the mother was dressed as Beetlejuice! The costume was perfect. There was also people dressed as 'Wild Things' who were just incredible. I loved how the whole neighbourhood was involved with people decorating their houses and playing music and the parade wasn't anything that was particularly organised. Just a shambling mob of assorted oddballs and monsters wandering every which way. There was passion involved. Maybe next year.
